Internships in Braga.

Braga is the oldest city in Portugal and it attracts visitors from all over the world. It is a city in the northwestern part of Portugal in a district of Braga and it has a population of around 181,494 inhabitants. Braga is the third largest metropolitan area of Portugal behind Lisbon and Porto.

Braga and it´s surrounding area offer many attractions and it is a perfect destination for exploring on foot. The Praça da Republica Square is a central square where you can try traditional Portuguese pastries and see the delightful architecture and water fountain. Close to the Praça da Republica Square you can find the Cathedral of Braga which is one of the city’s cultural highlights and a must-visit destination of Portugal. Braga is host to the oldiest archdiocese in Portugal.

Benefits of the Internships

Some of our positions in Portugal offer a small stipend. Some positions offer other benefits such as free accommodation or meals however this is dependent on the provider of the position and all benefits will be arranged prior to the commencement of the internship.

Type of Internships

We organise curricular internships as law requires students to be enrolled in an educational institution in order to be able to do a placement. Curricular internships are as a part of your studies where the internship is worth ECTS credits, often as a part of the Erasmus plus program.

Eligibility

For EU citizens it is really easy to do an internship in Portugal. In order to do a curricular internship in Portugal all you need is a training agreement from your university. A training agreement is a document which outlines all the details of your internship and proves that the internship is as a part of your studies. It must be signed by all parties, your university, the receiving company and by you, the intern.
