Internships Portugal is the dedicated Portuguese arm of The Student Mobility Group. We deliver Erasmus+ work placements end-to-end — from your first kick-off call in Brussels, Madrid or Rome, all the way to the host company floor in Lisbon, Porto or Funchal.
Part of The Student Mobility Group, an Erasmus+ accredited family of providers operating across Spain, France, Germany and Portugal. Since 2009 we have delivered fully managed internship and mobility programs for VET schools, universities and educational institutions across Europe.
Our local teams in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Funchal, Faro, Braga and Aveiro handle every detail — from CV-aligned company matching to accommodation, insurance, transfers, language and culture activities, and 24/7 emergency support.
We work with public funding programs (Erasmus+ KA1 VET, KA1 HEI, KA2), regional mobility schemes and self-funded individual mobilities.
Why a Portuguese entity
Erasmus+ in Portugal has its own rules.
Portuguese mobility runs on its own playbook: NIF and social-security registration, IEFP-recognised host criteria, a labour market that mixes English-fluent multinationals (Lisbon, Porto) with Portuguese-only SMEs across the Centro and Algarve regions, and accommodation markets that move fast in the summer high season.
Internships Portugal handles host sourcing, accommodation, insurance, Portuguese workplace-language coaching, on-site coordination and Beneficiary Module-ready documentation directly inside Portugal.
